Default Shipping parts to Canada

I'm in St. John's Nfld and am closer to the UK than to a whole lot of Canada
When I had my Austin Cooper S years ago I found that I could almost always get parts from the UK cheaper much cheaper than from the US. I'm planning some winter works on my car and can get the parts from both UK and US sources. Do any of you guys have any insight on shipping costs from UK vs US ?

FYI it's 3700km to London England and 3100km to Toronto

Hit and miss, nut mostly just seemed easier to get from the US. Good point though, worth considering

Thanks for the reply. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from SNG Barratt UK ...almost 20% cheaper than the same stuff from their US location

I'm a bad typer, thanks for the info, I will definitely try that. Especially if the US $ surges.

Keep in mind that I'm farther from Calgary than I am from SNGBARRATT UK
so shipping might hit you harder
