I guess I will try out the Sovereign Motors. I'm planning to do more maintenance work by myself (to save money). So far, I have done; IMT o-ring change, front/rear brake pad change, left (driver's side) valve cover gasket change. Oil change due pretty soon. I'm debating if I want to take it in to Walmart.

Default Hey...new - used Jag owner here in Vancouver

Hi,
Just purchased a 2001 Xj8 Vanden Plas. Everything is mint and original but it is missing floor mats. Don't want rubber ones...so the search begins. Any suggestions? EBay doesn't have anything that turned my V8 crank ;-)

Cheers.

I replaced my mats from Nalley Jaguar.

It was pretty good price and free shipping within US. So I shipped to Blaine and picked them up.

Do mind if I ask how much they were with shipping? Are they OEM?
I think the OEM in my car are some sort of special wool and are probably really pricey! But I will give them a shout and see. ;-)

Thanks for the link

I paid $57.40 for full set of s-type mats and it's Jaguar OEM. I bought Jaguar license black frame for $20.36 as well. and free shipping within US.

Default Floor Mats for Vanden Plas

I could not get my hands on any for my Vanden Plas through the links on here...were rather hard to find. So I called both MCL and Richmond Jag. Richmond actually cut me a deal and came down from 240 to 210 for a set. Had them there in four days and they are great.

I'm a new member from Langley. I just got my 98 a couple weeks back. I do all my own maintenance, so I'm looking forward to learning the car.
