For those that choose to wax by hand, great advise......I recommend that you use enough product on the pad to wax either a 1 x 1 area or a panel at a time. Always clay the surface that you intend to wax first, then inspect the paint to make sure that no polishing is required before wasting that energy and apply wax when you should of polished first.
