Default High pressure cleaner

Any advice on using a high pressure water cleaner (1600psi) for cleaning the outside of my Jag would be greatly appreciated.
Is it suitable for the paintwork ?
Is it suitable for the underside ?
Is it suitable for the wheels ?
I have to date always used elbow grease, but now have access to a high pressure cleaner but am not sure about it's suitability.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi there, hopefully Dave will chime in soon with his professional opinion, in the meantime, here's my take on this.....

I've used high pressue jet cleaners for several years with no issues.
The thing to bear in mind, is that they are exactly that ( high pressure ) so don't get too close ( stay around 12" away ) from the paintwork.......If you get too close and there's any damage / chipped pantwork etc they can lift the clear coat / paint.

I use them at quite close quarters on the wheel weels and underside / wheels etc to remove hard or baked on dirt / grime

Hope this helps
