INDOOR GARAGE LEAK ON PAINT
Hi,
I have a question: I rented an indoor garage space for my XJS V12, and just noticed that something leaked from the garage roof onto my car. It is a white stuff on the concrete, and what dripped seems to have bonded to the paint, and I can't get it off. Any suggestions???
Please e-mail me at: gordoncruise@hotmail.com
Thanks - Gordon

RE: INDOOR GARAGE LEAK ON PAINT
No need for Maco. Just go to your nearest automotive store and pick up some Meguiars Scratch-X, Wolfgang Polish and Wolfgang wax. First step is to wash and dry the vehicle. Next apply the Scratch-X to the affected area using an aggresive up and down, back and forth motion. Remove Scratch-X with a damp microfiber cloth. NOTE: Be aggresive but do not "Scrub" the paint. Focus on the spots in question and after a few passes you should see them go away. After this step you will probably notice the area looks a bit rough. That's normal. All you need to do now is polish the area, Wolfgang polish removing the polish while it's still wet (If you decide to do the entire vehicle you can only polish a 2'X2' section at a time). Finally wax it with Wolfgang's wax. e-mail and let me know how it turns out. Send before and after pics and I'll put them on my website. e-mail: jkubiak@excelautodetailing.com website: www.excelautodetailing.com. I'm always happy to help a fellow Jag owner.
