Water filter for car washing?
Has anyone found a reasonable priced water filter to hook up to the hose for washing the car? Mt. Clean version is discontinued so I want to find a new simple solution that wont leave water spots after washing the cars at home. I found something like this but want to see what you guys suggest or have found to work well: Clear Inline Hose Filter Canister and Accessories
Isthere a better route to go or make something from Home Depot or such? Anything on Ebay that works ell you have found?

Believe it or not, if you use a good sheeting action car wash, like the old Mr Clean system, I use Easi Dri Car Wash by Eagle One, Eagle One Easi-Dri Car Wash, make sure it is concentrated enough to sheet the water.
Rinse with the nozzle off the end of the hose so you get a good sheet of water going when you rinse.
Then blow it dry with a leaf blower or one of the specialty car/motorcycle driers. Finish drying with a clean microfiber towel and you will be good to go.
I thought about the filters, but its not the filter, its the chemical that makes the water sheet off the car. And don't wash in the sun, and dry it as quick as you can.
YMMV, but it keeps my black XJR looking spiffy.
