What cleaner to use for suede?

Default What cleaner to use for suede?

i got a smudge mark on one of my visors thats suede...what should i use to remove this mark?

Great question.......

First of all are you 100% sure it is genuine suede or could it be "Alcantara" which looks and feels like suede, but it's known as "UltraSuede"....

Alcantara® is the interior material of choice of virtually all the world's leading automakers.

Please advise....

Thank you for the clarification of the material.....

I personally always use the least aggressive approach when cleaning this type of fabric.

1) Warm water and a very clean soft MF towel..wring it out completely then spot clean the stain.

2) Meguiar's APC + sprayed on a towel as mentioned above, then blot stain or wipe lightly. DO NOT spray product directly on fabric as it may leave a ring.
