If I were going to get a remap it would be to do all whilst I am in there. WHY? Because the DPF is a huge restriction in the exhaust. The engine just cannot breathe properly. Even adding a Performance Chip to cars with the DPF still on is asking for issues as you now are asking MORE from the engine but the restriction is still there and only makes things worse.

I have a rule when doing Performance Modules on DPF equipped vehicles ... we don't do them UNLESS the DPF is removed as we have seen too many temp sensors fail and hot EGTs.

Hope this helps
thanks for the information.
.

couple pix of what we do for the DPF and the complete exhaust system, bigger diameter all the way thru, NO dpf, no cats and only one/or two hi-flow muffler.
on some of our vehicles have seen a gain of 30-50hp. with a remap we have seen over 100hp and more. the over the top guys jackem up to 300-500hp more , but they start to become unmanagable on the street(OK for racing).

and the factory system weights in at 145lbs, new system weighs 60lbs. that the factory system in pic, plus an EGR block off plates pieces!

Welcome OzXFS.

We miss out of sales for this reason but its what I believe and know is right.

A slight increase is fine but thats not the point of a remap in my opinion. Most people that get a remap want a good 20% + torque increase out of the investment made

Here in the UK and for all 4 remaps I've had done the average is around 20% - 25% generally

Very few offer to increase more and generally there the becomes a driveability issue for daily use

An update on my experience with the Pro 2 chip. Economy on the daily commute has dropped by 1 litre per 100 kms. Precisely in line with the sellers claim.

The bum dyno indicates there is an increase in both power and torque. Now have to feather the throttle during takeover to maintain traction.

I like a lot!!! 😄
