Has anyone else had this happen yet? All the controls work, you can hear flaps opening and closing, but the fan does not. I found out on the UK Epace site that this is a known problem.

Jaguar fan not working

• Investigate no interior fan, removed scuttle panel re engaged motor, refit panel & test ok. cp 809020 0.5 101010 0.2 (DJ)
• software update available for the "Hvac module to eliminate software/module fault".
• Removed drivers lower dash panel for access checked ground and power connector - was 12.8v. Removed glovebox and replaced blower".

 

So, The dealer fixed this a couple of weeks ago. It turned out the fan was ok but they needed to do a software update. See the two actions above in my original note. This happened or coincided with an update to the Jaguar Remote App. I have no way to prove the two are related, more conjecture on my part. The Prince of Darkness strikes again. Anyway this is a known issue. Additionally, there had been a leak at the top of the A pillar when going through a car wash. I had tried to get this fixed before, but the "never had time" to investigate. This time they fixed it by putting in a new windshield. Both issues are covered under warranty; which for us ends November 2023.

 

I have a 19 and have not had this issue. Glad you got it fixed.

you mention that this is a known problem - referring to the UK Epace site . Do you have a link as i have the issue and am out of warranty.

I did have this in the first year and the Jaguar tech showed me a little fan that sometimes gets stuck and you just respin it - but cant for the life of me remember where it was - it was fairly easy as he showed me for future reference.
