Hi all,
I was able to use a 2018 E pace yesterday as a loaner. On startup the seat belt display would pop up on the speedometer display showing the state of seat belts for each seat. A nice feature that I also saw on E pace TV commercial...
When I start up my 2019 E pace I don't get this seat belt graphic but in stead I get the the cruse control distance setting graphic. I checked the 2018 software version but my 2019 has a later version so I dont know why my car is different. The dealer went through all the display settings but still had no answers.
What does your car do on startup?
Thanks,
John

Reason: removing "pic"

The 'problem' appears to be misunderstanding of the how the combined functions of Seat Belt Monitor and Seat Belt Reminder operate.
It is the same as the setup in my F-PACE. However, it is not possible to be absolute about how this operates. Some market regulations require the warnings to operate even with the vehicle stationary but others only require it to trigger when the vehicle moves.
It's disturbing to read above that a Jaguar Dealer is unable to describe the precise operation of the functions in the region they are selling and maintaining the vehicles.
