Fuel range display on trip display

Fuel range display on trip display
Hi
I have had a long standing ABS problem which is now resolved, but meant that I was driving for a significant amount of miles with the speedo only working some of the time. Now the ABS problem is resolved I notice that the trip display that shows how many miles you can run is wrong.
I filled up with nearly half a tank of fuel, but the range until empty display only showed 37 miles. I had a look via the diagnostics to see if there was any way to reset this. In just a few minutes with the engine idling the range went down to 25 miles.
Does anyone know how this can be reset or what could be causing this to be so wildly out of calibration.
Thanks for any help.
Laurie

Pleased to see you've got that issue out of the way.
