What Diffferences Do You Experience Between Econo and Dynamic Modes?
I keep my 2018 250S on Econo mode to save gas. Its still pretty peppy and does everything I "need" on the highway. But I am curious for those of you who use the Dynamic mode - what differences in ride, acceleration or other do you get in that mode? I expect there are some situations I'd actually want to use Dynamic, so looking to hear what you've experienced.
Thanks,

It raises the shift points, so it'll shift at 6000rpm instead of 4000rpm, which means as you're accelerating you get that power band where it's creating the most power. Which also makes you not upshift when cruising so if you suddenly mash the accelerator, it doesn't have to first shift to summon up the power. Other than that I'm not sure.
As said above, the biggest difference is the shift points, letting you get more "juice" when using the gas pedal. There seem to be a couple of handling changes also (tightening things up a bit).
I typically use Dynamic and Sport mode when I am in heavy traffic. Needing the extra go can help when trying to work in congested areas. I also use it when merging onto interstates.
I also tend to not drive in Dynamic mode to save on gas. I have not analyzed the savings. I do like driving in Dynamic, so I need to study this a bit. Being somewhat frugal and the Dashboard telling me I am burning more fuel, I tend to not be able to enjoy myself
. Because I do this, and I am typically in Eco or Comfort. I will use my paddles to get that extra go. So, stay in Eco, but hit the down shifter prior to going onto the interstate or at the stop light.
