If only I could remove the rear wiper. It's a real eyesore imo.(on most crossovers).

Sounds like an I-Pace is in order. No rear wiper needed.

Only con is the low mpg.

Default I like my wife’s E-PACE R-Dynamic P300 SE

Sure, the E-PACE could be better but I dare say that has been true for every vehicle I’ve owned during the past 5 decades. It is too expensive and heavy for its size, and doesn’t get all that great of gas mileage when compared to my wife’s previous Audi Q3, BMW X2, and Caddy XT4 SUVs which also had turbo 2.0 I4 engines. We test drove aMacan and Alfa before the E-PACE. But we found the E-PACE to best satisfy our desires. Current Jaguars have the most comfortable seats for long distance driving that I’ve experienced and are equal to the seats in a Lexus IS-350. And, the rear seats are as comfortable as those in our XE and XF...unlike those in the I-PACE which I found to be very uncomfortable for even a short jaunt. Thanks to its weight, we’ve had little issue dealing with wind gusts during highway driving. It is a surprisingly good towing vehicle (we ordered ours with the tow package from the factory). It even forded 18-inches of water across an overflowed creek without the least difficulty. I must also credit Jaguar on its choice of algorithm for rain/snow mode. Finally, from the rear and rear quarter I find the E-PACE more attractive than the same view of my F-TYPE S coupe. She decided on the optional 19” wheels. I prefer the stock 19” wheels but it is her money. Audis, Bimmers and Mercs are everywhere we travel. Jags...well, not so much.

Although, we have been looking at V6 F-PACEs because my wife requires more room for all of her luggage when we travel. I just can’t see purchasing a 6th vehicle (my wife also has a 2020 GR Supra 3.0 Premium) to our stable.

Interesting to see the you liked the E-Pace over the Porsche and Alfa. Those were two that were in my list of choices, but they pushed the money envelope a little too much. Also, the dealers were too far away for regular service. I would travel for the test drive, but three hours is too much for regular maintenance. Good to hear feedback that the E-Pace is liked over those.

One of the things that I like most about owning an E-Pace is that you dont see them down every street. This would be true of the F-Pace also. The Merc, Audi, BMW Suvs are everywhere. I like having something unique.

I do find myself looking at the F-Pace to have a little more trunk room. I also see that the E-Pace is coming out with some nice enhancements next year. I find this a bit odd since every other car I have owned has been kept for at least 10 years. How long can I fight the urge. I do find the E-Pace to have a better look than the F-Pace, in my opinion.

My wife leased a 2018 first edition and loves it. We live in Boston and she feels completely secure driving in the snow. The features and functionality are way more than she will ever use, but that’s the case with most vehicles. We looked at all the usual suspects and as others have mentioned they are common. She came from a 97 XJ6L that we had for17 years and will never go back to a car again. The XJ had two sets of wheels summer and winter but the epace awd and weight seem far superior for her. I’ve never driven the epace due to being in a wheelchair. Interesting enough the dealer has started trying to get us to lease a 2020 a year ahead of our current lease expiration. Incentives are being offered but not enough yet

I would lease the 2021 model as it has a more posh new interior and improved infotainment.

I am leaning towards the 2021, as the 2020 is a year old but if they got serious about the price I might consider it. Macans are the new “IT” vehicle , so no deals to be had there. I think while people like the styling they tend to shy away from Jaguar. The prince of darkness, who I know well, seems to have been excorcised from current Jaguars😂

I brought my 2010 XK Coupe in for service today and am driving a 2020 E Pace. Nice tight car with comfortable seats. Biggest complaint? That buzzy 4 cylinder engine. Sounds like a sewing machine! These cars are not cheap and reliability is horrific. I see loads of them here in SE Florida.

I'm curious where you get the reliability issue on the E-Pace? Only seen and heard of infotainment issues for the most part.
