Was just offered an OTA update, which provides Wireless CarPlay. This is on a '21.

I was pleasantly surprised.

 

I use carlinkit 3.0 in my current hire car, a 2021 F-Pace. It works really well and only on the odd occasion has it been slow to connect (or not at all). I just unplug it and pop it back in again and all is fine. I've had it running for a few months now and it's pretty flawless. I bought it knowing I'd want it for the EV6 and it just happens to work great in the 2021 F-Pace too.

 

I don't have wireless car play, half the time I can't even play music via bluetooth, while i am still able to make and receive calls.
