1966 E-Type Engine Rebuilders in North Texas
I am going to have my engine rebuilt (blueprinted and balanced). I would like to have the worn timing chain replaced, have oil seals installed for the valves and paint the head gold (as per factory) and possibly change the pistons to obtain higher-than-stock compression (10.25:1 or 11:1 pistons). The company that I would normally use, Jeff's Resurrections, is backed-up for a year. I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area and would like to hear from my fellow Forum users about who they would recommend for this work.

Here's a link to a quick search I did for Texas Jaguar clubs.

Looks like there are quite a few... you should be able to find a qualified and reputable engine rebuilder from that, plus the ones suggested.
Then Google the businesses and see what the reviews are, Just sayin'
