Default Cam Covers

Hello everyone, I have a 1967 S1 4.2 OTS and today I noticed some oil sprays on my LH cam cover. When I removed it, I realized that there are two cracks near the stud holes and when I inspected the RH one I found three more. I am 100% sure that that's where the oil is coming out. I am looking for replacements and found some decent prices on eBay. One question: are the cam covers for a 3.8 the same as the 4.2 engine? The best deal I found is for a pair described as for the 3.8. The numbers inside are identical though. Thanks!

Hello Dan219....Has this been answered?
My first thoughts are yes, they are the same, especially with the same P/Ns. The differences were more in the cooling channels than phyiscal. This aside, a shop with TIG welding expertise can fix those cracks. BTW, this is from OPs over torquing.
