The front end of the car is too low. The manual simply says loosen nut on the adjustment bolt and adjust. i loosened the nut and pulled as hard as I could and nothing. Then stupidly I went the other way and it moved and lowered the car another 1 inch. I pulled clockwise again and nothing. Do I have to raise the car and unload the torsion bar in order to move it?

How hard do you have to pull. How long a lever is needed. Should it be extremely hard or is something binding?
