I just replaced my clutch cylinders and fluid on my 67 Series 1. The fluid was almost black in two years time from previous change. Consensus seems to be that the vent hole in the clutch reservoir cap contributes to this.

Modern clutch reservoir caps caps have a membrane to keep out dirt and water. Has anyone found a way to adopt this to a vented cap?
