looks sorta like part of the transfer case, but there is always a chance it can be the new unobtainium flux capacitor as Ican stated

Sorry Antonio I don't have a stupid answer, but it looks like a very badly worn transfer case output shaft for the rear wheels. You might get better answers if you gave more information. What's a "Jaguar 2.5 Benz" for example?

To me it looks like the output shaft of these;
TRANSFER CASE Jaguar X Type 2002 02 2003 03 | eBay
02 03 JAGUAR X TYPE Xtype X-type 4wd transmission 4X4 TRANSFER CASE | eBay
TRANSFER CASE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL Jaguar X-Type 2004 2005 2006 04 05 06 | eBay

It looks like it has a pinion gear that has all the
teeth ground off. I would expect that the
transfer case has been completely trashed.
