Question Correct tool set Series II

Everyone wants to have a complete car. And correct if poss.
So, Trying to purchase a Series II Tool Kit, is a total adventure.
Each set seems cobbled together, contradictory and stratospherically priced.
Is it Garrington or SSPs, winged jag tyre gauge or Dunlop? Grease gun on Series IIs or wasn't included. White inside of tool roll or black?

Any definitive correct set all you Toll Roll savants?

Thanks,

David

Hi,
This may or may not help, but, I'll offer this.....
I'm the second owner of a series 1.5. I've owned it since the early 70s. It came with original owner's manual, lubrication chart , misc coupon stubs, as was popular at the time. Also, have an original tool roll. I'm not familiar with your references to "Garrington or SSPs" or winged type air gauge. It does have a Dunlap tin with a bleed hose in it, as well as, a number of "spanners", pliers, tire valve, grease gun etc......the inside of the roll is white, or what passes for white.
I can get a pic if it helps.

Here she blows........OK, so I included my owner's kit too, just in case. Also have the greasing tool. It never packed well, so I stored it. Also know, this is a 25 year old tool roll pouch. My original became too fragile, so, it's been stored, as well.

Hope this helps

I sold an incomplete set on eBay early last year. The flat spanners are blacked steel (not plated), with SSP on one side and Jaguar on the other side. SSP = Sheffield Steel Products. These sold for a ridiculous price that I could not believe, the auction was red-hot !

I was selling for a friend of mine who had had a garage clearout prior to going to live in California. He's now driving a Corvette and loving it !

We don't have any of the original tools, my cousin who likes to go to yard sales found us a jaguar open end wrench. He got it for a dollar.

Default tool kit series 1.5

I purchased 1 owner complete series 1.5 (except for the large gaping rust holes) that even has key fob!. Tool kit was abbreviated to the jack, special hub tool, hammer, tommy bar, spark plug socket and fan belt. That was all and was standard for series 1.5 in US per literature I have read as well.
