Well, my Christmas present was a dented driver's side front fender. Small stuff in an otherwise blessed holiday but...

I need a new (used) driver's side front fender, black preferably for a 2004 XJ8. It is a standard car, not long wheel base or XJR. Would anyone know were I could find said fender in the Houston area?

Any ideas on how to economically purchase a non-dented wing for the old girl?

Sorry to hear, but do you really need a new wing, can't the current one be 'pushed out' by a dent specialist?

Any 03-05 wing will fit, it does not matter if is from a LWB car or XJR, they are the same. Just make sure the indicator hole is the same, as it got changed on 05 models.

 

Thanks for the reply. I am afraid some of the metal was torn away. Good information re: 03-05 and not beyond.

 

Try car-part.com. They have some available from about $150 to $450 or so. Specifically in your area try these guys. They have a black one but no price listed.

Thank you. Very helpful. I contacted Lone Star and looked through car-part.com so there are options. Lone Star's black fender was damaged so I have to consider repair and repaint in the price. Still, helpful and much appreciated.
