Default Driven Man 5 Speed Gearbox for E type

Hi has anyone had any experiances of the Driven Man 5 speed gearbox, trying to fit one currently and the bell housing supplied will not fir against the block without the clutch fork having zero movement, running a 9.5 inch clutch, response I have had below

In those instances it is completely acceptable for the installer to grind away a notch in the face of the on the gearbox thus providing more clearance for the clutch fork. Common sense will dictate the correct amount of material to remove.

I paid for a gearbox to fit not engineer!!!

You "gave up" as in sending it back? Did they take it back or charge your 20% for the pleasure of doing business with them?

Default Driven Man 5 speed conversion

I installed their kit which includes bellhousing. Problem I'm having is starter does not engage flywheel correctly. It is just skimming flywheel teeth. Tyring to get ahold of Driven Man but perhaps extended Holiday is the problem. Would appreciate hearing from others
