Default 2016 Jaguar Lobster Run

Our Impromptu F-Type Lancaster Meet-up was such great fun that we are now organizing the 3 day 2016 Great Lobster Run to the great state of Maine, with a special invitation to all of the F-Type 2-door precesessors (C-Type, D-Type, E-Type, all the XKs and any other classic Jags that want to join). Convoys from several location throughout the country may also be established. The festivities are scheduled to occur on May 6-8, 2016 and details can be found at the following thread: 2016 Jaguar Lobster Run???

Please indicate your interest on that thread so we can ensure adequate capacity for each if the activities.

Would be a bit of a drive for you, but also an epic journey.

Thanks very much for the invite, and it sounds like a road trip worthy of a Jag!
Alas, that's 5 good days on the road just to reach Maryland from our great northwest.
13 days and 7000 miles round trip is not a drive for the faint, but that would be one heck of a cool drive!
Hard part for me is I want nothing but back roads, so probably 15 days and 8000 miles!
Too much for myself, but gads I'd love to see and drive Maine some day!

Thanks again for posting up the offer! Who knows... Someone here may try it!

peace
Vince

I will drive a long way for good lobster, but that's ... Well, 1/8 the circumference of the earth. Kudos for ambition hope y'all have an absolute blast.

Maine lobster is very nice, but I guess I'll just have to make do with the finest crab, oysters, and mussels on earth, not to mention the salmon, halibut, and true cod. In every case far superior to the stuff the Easterners have, unless they fly it in from here. To use a British expression, this whole thread on a Northwest board is a case of carrying coals to Newcastle.

Perhaps a one-time link via Skype to a group gathering at a NW Red Lobster location ?
