Invitation to drive F-type
Received an invitation ( Jaguar Dealer) to Breakfast and to drive the new F type Jaguar.
I have 2011 Jag XJ SuperSport.
Has anyone received an invitation like this and what should I expect?
~Thanks~

Correct. I have gone to other such breakfasts. Lambo had some really nice looking women to talk to you about their cars. I got invited to a party Friday night at a local LA Club for the unveiling of the F-Type Coupe. But I'm ready to buy one if it meets my expectations.
yes -- but the only one I would want is 550hp and starting @ $132,000
My Xj SS is 510hp and paid for @ ........about $115,000
They would have to come up with a very nice deal.
Plus , my wife like 4 doors.

Yes, as I also live in central PA and go to that dealer for service, I received the invite as well. My wife and I attended a similar event at that dealer about 2 years ago and that is where we met a member of the local Jag club. The dealer does a nice job playing host. We joined the Jag club and have enjoyed the club events as well. We probably will not make it to the F type event however.
I went to the F-Type Event at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. Interesting mixer. I think you can figure out the theme. Money was fake by the way but a great prop. Only 2 F-Type coupes around but the fact that they were on the roof top pool patio was impressive. I took a great panoramic shot but can't post it. The coupe is definitely a tight fit. It's in the 911 class for size. And it's low so you better have a good back and work on a graceful entry and exit. Andrew

Driving back from Atlantic City last week we went over the Pro's & Con's
Between the F and XJ. This is for us , I'm sure others will feel differently.
F- CON'S: Small trunk, no back seats, From what I have seen,The interior is terrible and very little to choose from and payments every month.
Price $114,700 to $116,200.
PRO'S: 550HP
XJ- CON'S: Big car , everyone looks at you. Slow Computer. Nav system - confusing. 510 HP
PRO'S Big car, interior is beautiful. People always complimenting and can't get over the leather overhead.
Price $ paid for.
As for the Horse Power (for me, being honest-it all comes down to HP) Its my understanding, there is a shop, right in my old home town, that can kick it up to 604HP.
However, I am looking forward to the test drive. They can change everything.
I think back to a car I had my heart set on years ago. After the test drive, I would not buy it at half the price.
~BEST~
