Fuel pump config
Anyone have a drawing, photo or description of how the fuel pump should be connected on a series II E type, especially the bracket and the fuel pump to the bracket
I don't have a photo, but the pump is horizontal, with the motor to the rear...It stands on the platform, attached by three rubber-insulated studs...The banjos are also mounted horizontally, with the inlet/outlet pointing to the front of the car.
Hope that makes sense.

I just took some pictures of the fuel pump area in my 70 OTS. Maybe these will help.

I suggest you look here for the definitive answer. Page 42 gives the exact placement for your S2 pump.

Thank you for the help it has been most beneficial. My car had an after market pump ( not an SU or like) which was connected to the body with one bolt and no pump mounts, I am assuming that the pump is connected to an "L" bracket by a clip and the "L" bracket connected to the body as is shown on xk's diagram.
