Reported on another forum this morning:

Just got a call from the shippers. My OTS and the FHC went from
their storage facility to the UK port of Felixstowe yesterday and
were stolen last night from the container. Ploice involved etc.

Needless to say, I am putting out an APB to every E-type crowd I
know in case anyone sees or is offered a scruffy but super-solid
standard FHC, or my blue OTS with Getrag and S1 centre dash panel
etc.

It's only possessions, nobody got hurt, and there will be some
insurance cover but not really for the true worth to me personally
and I'd much rather have the cars back than the money. 1R7977 and
1E33100, both on XKEData.com with pics etc.

Keep your eyes out folks please.

Please also pass the message to any local Jaguar club website
or bulletin boards you know of worldwide. The cars were stolen from
a busy port so may be on their way anywhere. This could be an
opportunity to harness the power of the internet and 'going viral'
to make the cars unsaleable and hopefully detectable by alerting
the whole Jaguar community worldwide.

Sorry to hear about the theft.

As the docks must be ringed with CCTV, is it suspected they've been moved out of the UK through Felixstowe or out of the Port and are now somewhere in the UK?

Really sorry to hear about this Pete.

Sounds highly organized to me. Out of one container and straight into another one.

I've taken the liberty of grabbing pictures of the cars and posting them here.

Keep your eyes open guys, having one of your pride and joys stolen is heartbreaking, god knows what it must feel like to lose two.

Ide get the cash and the cars back. Youll need the cash just to get them back into shape. I hate f*^&kn theives. They should be shot like we did here in texas the other night

 

Three months and no follow up. Were these vehicles ever recovered?

Pure sadness, I hope the perpetrators are found and brought to justice soon.

 

i had a 84 xj6 and a 57 rolls stolen and a year later the police in chcargo called me and told that they had the car and if i had the title /keys i could come get it. it was in better shape when i got it back. never heard on rolls. btw. i keep hearing people say they have a OTS. maybe dumb but what is that?
