Looking for my dads jaguar

Everyone, I need help!
I'm trying to locate my fathers Jaguar he had as I was growing up. Here is the info I have:
1968 XKE 2+2
British Racing Green
These are some numbers I found, I hope they help.
Car ? 1E79162
Body: 4E55371
Engine: 7E55643-9
Gearbox: KJ5749
Any help would be appreciated!
My father is 81 and has owned several exotic cars over the years, however, he misses this one the most.

It's not in the registry.

Not in the registry ?

There is a data logging registry that an owner can upload vital stats of their Etype. I, believe the city and state are part of the input, as well. So, if it were registered you could, at least, know the last location.
The Jaguar Trust has a registry program too.

What town was it last registered? Mor details, better advice......
