I decided to remove the leaking power steering rack on my 1974 XKE. It will not come out. I am forced to remove the bonnett and radiator and shroud to get to the rack which I had to apply a lot of pressure to get loose.. I hope I can get it done. I guess it is good while there to replace all of the belts, hoses and up rate the radiator. While I am leary to do so I guess I should also replace the original water pump. This job keeps growing and getting more expensive. Welcome to Jag ownership.

PS Has anyone put electric steering on a 74 xke? If so where is best to get it?
