Default Screw in distributor plugs

How do you fab the wires to the distributor? I got this kit and cannot figure it out.

Looks like a graphite wire. I put the wire thru washer and curl up side of wire, then push in distributor and screw home.

Brian that system is for copper core wire. Correctly done the wire is inserted in the copper disc and the wire ends splayed then soldered. When done correctly it is a very secure system where the solder blob actually mushrooms over the dist. cap tips.
