Default Series 3 Ignition light

While driving the other day I noticed I was on severe overcharge and my ignition light was on, upon a second start it was charging normal but the light was still on dim. I went ahead and changed the voltage regulator and now it’s sitting right at just over 13 as it should at idle yet the ignition light is still on dim. I don’t remember noticing this before or is this a normal occurrence or where should I check next on the ignition light?

I've got a series 2, but the ignition light has flickered constantly since i got it about 9 years ago! Checked the alternator and it's fine, battery is fine and voltage just where it should be. So I ignore it until something changes! I think it's fairly common, there's a unit you can chsange I believe which may or may not fix it - your call.
