Question Car Covers

Hello,

Looking to buy a car cover for my XKR. Need to start parking it outdoors.

Anyone have any good companies to recommend?

Thank you for your help

I'm in the same boat. Just bought my first jag and it has always been in the garage. Live in lower mainland bc, so it constantly rains. Breaks my heart to see the cat all wet. Doesn't help where the trunk touches the plastic molding on the bumper, starting to rust.
Is there truely a difference in how many layers there are. Or is it about the quality of workmanship and materials are used. Price and shipping?

I recently bought through Amazon a Coverking in their Silverguard Plus material for my pickup truck that has to sit outside under a carport. The fit was about as good as could get. I'll probably buy another from them next time I need one.

I have a $100 generic outdoor cover from Pep Boys that I keep for temporary use on various cars in case I have a project that takes over a garage bay. Its very thick and seems durable but one thing I don't like about it is that its sort of a porous exterior surface and tho it doesn't soak all the way through, it seems to stain with anything that lands on it, tree sap, bird ****, you name it. Oh, and cats seem to think its cozy. That's why I picked the "Silverguard" material for the truck as I thought it would repel stuff and maybe even critters better.
