Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about adding a chrome pillar trim and a mesh grille to my 2005 XJ8 Vanden Plas.

I haven't added anything to my XJ8 yet so I was wondering if anyone has had experience installing either the chrome pillar trim or a mesh grill. And if anyone has added these mods to their cars I would really appreciate it if they posted a pic.

atacki, I added the chrome pillars from Mina on our S Type. Be VERY carefull on install. Easy to do, BUT once a tiny piece of the 3M tape touches the pillar it is stuck on!!! Removal will end up creasing them easily. Chris at Mina sent me a replacement that I creased for $15.00 2 days later. The only down fall once they are installed is the wife still uses the pillars to close the door and they really show finger prints bad.

 

BTW if you haven't purchased them yet. You can work Chris over for a better price than what their website is showing.
