Have seen pictures of the XJS with a leaper and like the look, but I am unsure of what type /size leaper that would fit in the holes now used for the growler badge on the hood. Drilling another hole is NOT an option. This is for a 1995 XJS convertible.

Are there anyone out there that have experience or knowledge about this?

The leaper is not original from Jaguar, but dealer options. I know everyone has their opinion, but they look SOOOO much better without them.

 

When I bought my 96 a few years ago it came with a leaper on it - installed by the previous owner. I hated it, but could not remove without getting into paintwork.

If you want to install one, I think Bill Tracy in Sarasota, FL sellsa versionon a chrome base that fits neatly into the holes left by the factorygrowler emblem. I don't have his info on hand, but I'm sure google will bring it up. He is known for selling classic XK parts mostly.
