Securing The Hub Caps

Default Securing The Hub Caps

I have X300 "turbine" style wheels on my '93 XJ40 . Recently I was told that one of the wheel caps came off which made me upset . I was using same wheels since I bought the car and I had not occurred such a thing .
Anyway, is there a way to secure the hub caps or is the retaining clip 100% safe ?
My OEM wheels are "roulette" style and I see allen key which I find the best way to secure unlike X300 wheels . I don't know whether it is possible to convert my hub caps to allen ones

caddi, I am unfamiliar with your wheels, but what I have done in the past is while wheel is off I used clear silicone from the inside to secure center caps. Clean well before siliconing of course.
