Default Ultimate Chrome upgrade for S-type

Chrome mirror covers - a must
Chrome head light covers (basically a circle that surrounds the headlights)
Chrome pillar posts - another must
Chrome tail lights
Chrome 2007 mesh grill with jaguar head
Chrome door edge guards (a thin piece of chrome that you put in between the door edge)

What do you guys think?

You seem a chrome guy like me .I would say all of them would look brill but color of the car also counts . On darker colors, chrome looks more shiny

I agree, chrome is very colour dependent, the darker the colour the better. But I prefer no chrome at all. Apart from the boot strip.

CSN, will you do some pictures of before and after?

I'm guessing you guys are all in the US? It's interesting how you guys like your chrome (or indeed add more) whereas most folks here in the UK are the opposite; it's all about dechroming.

I believe the US version of an X308 XJR (and probably other models too) come with more chrome parts than the UK equivalent.

The mesh grill looks much better than the standard grill on the 2004 S type imho - I'd recommend the matching lower grill insert as well. See http://www.jagplanet.com/images/tuni...le-upgrade.jpg for a before and after pic.

IMO... The mesh looks great on the S Type R but for the others I prefer the retro look, keeping in mind that the original S had a vertical grill. On the '05s and up there is a slight front end stretch and the tighter vertical grill lines look awesome.

Definetly, both should be done at the same time.
