Default 2017 Jag FLow Coolant

I have a 2017 Jag F pace with 43k. I recently had an awful experience. Please be advised I have had every preventative service performed, and yet I was just surprised with a 2K bill having to do with a total retrofit of the coolant outlet pipes. This seems to be a fundamental design flaw. This is a quote from the $2,100 invoice:
"Fluid coolant outlet pipes leaking. Removed cooler and supercharger, removed and replaced outlet pipes. Refit s/c and air cooler. Vacuum-filled cooling system

So what they did is take the cooling pipes which were fit on top of the engine and moved them underneath where they should have been, to begin with. The heat from the engine causes the pipes to overheat and a coolant leak.

Does this seem like a fundamental design flaw that should be covered by Jag regardless of whether it is out of warranty? Don't you think that they could have pointed it out if I went to every service appointment for the car before the warranty expired? Something is not right, and Jaguar should be ashamed-we will see what my lawyer will do and my complaints to the states consumer bureau-

SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The water outlet under the supercharger and heater pipe between the cylinder heads at the back of the engine are known failure points on the AJ133/AJ126. The plastic parts can only withstand a finite number of cold to hot to cold cycles prior to failing. These parts should be replaced when the coolant is replaced, or if the supercharger needs to be removed.

If a 'Coolant Level Low' message appears on the instrument cluster, the cause of coolant loss must be immediately found and corrected to avoid catastrophic engine damage.

Understood, and I did that. Your answer further supports my position that this is a fundamental design flaw that should have been addressed in a recall procedure
Apparently you agree

Kind of makes you wonder why it took the aftermarket to come up with metal coolant piping, while the factory still uses plastic.
