With that much damage to skid plate and underbody it sounds like it hit something in the road pretty hard. Perhaps damaged the diff too.

You don't want an aluminum black engine overheating or it will be wrecked in 30 seconds.... Nor running out of oil

I get being cautious with what you spend, but oil leaks and coolant leaks are very bad news and I would pay now to avoid much more damage if something happens

 

I gave them permission to fix the coolant leak, once they fix the leaky hose they will do a pressure test to make sure no more leaks in the coolant system or pump. The only thing they saw damaged from the drive shaft breaking were two transmission pipes that were squished, which I approved for them to replace them. They were actually surprised that with the transmission pipes being squished the way they were it wasn’t throwing out any signals or overheating. The only reason I declined the UV test is bc who knows how long the coolant/oil/fluid has been sitting in the valley. It could have been an issue and been fixed awhile ago. Plus we very recently got the oil changed and the levels have stayed the same since. I am being cautious but at the same time I’m trying to only worry about the immediate issues at hand. I do appreciate everyone for their help and concern. I’ll keep everyone updated when I get her back and how she drives afterwards!! They ordered the parts Thursday so should hear back from them soon hopefully!
