Hi everyone,
New Jag owner here, and first time poster, so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. I did do a cursory search to see if I saw this answered already.
We are the new owners of a 2023 F-Pace P400 R-Dynamic S and the rear wiper is behaving erratically.
Basically, it will start wiping, stop in the middle of the window, continue wiping, stop, continue, etc. throughout it's sweep. Then, when I turn the wiper off, it doesn't return to home, but rather just stops wherever it is. So, if I don't time it correctly, I'll have a wiper that's sitting in the middle of the window.
I didn't see anything in the manual which would suggest that this is a normal or desired behavior, so I'm assuming that this is an actual fault.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Also, does everyone else's wiper return to home after turning it off? I expect so, but just wanted to ask before I take it in to the dealer for service.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It shouldn't do any of the things you are describing, and should park when you switch it off.
