I'm partial to Bosch Icon. The beam design prevents chattering and the rubber seems to last longer.

I recently installed a Rainx wiper on mine and it wipes well. I got it on Amazon. The part that attaches to the wiper arm is a little larger than I would like but I’m still glad I bought it.

Valeo wipers cost and are crap.
Bosch STANDARD (no aero or so) work best. At least by my experience.

The OE blade is high quality w/ soft rubber. I'm surprised you can't get the inserts in the UK? No inserts in USA market.

IMO the DENSO replacement is the best. I get them through AutohausAZ in the USA -- no help for you ..sorry. They used to sell the inserts.

Several UK aftermarket suppliers list at around 13 UKP each.

Note if you are replacing the entire arm, i tried a Bosch and it would'nt clean the bottom half of the screen properly. Went back to an OE arm which works perfectly. Difference being the OE arm is specifically shaped to give clearance between the washer jet body and arm.

That's the way to go.

I'm always surprised that people toss out the blades when inserts are available.

..... I actually hate the icon blades on my Porsche Cayenne.

Do you wipers have hoses on them? I don't know what to do with the hoses on the RainX Blades I bought.

Thanks all.

it does look the best option to just change the rubber. It’s unfortunate just the rubber costs more than with the frame as well.

the CO2 footprint should be considered though 🤔

Properly applied Rain-X works best above 45mph. Works even better at 80mph during a torrential downpour on the interstate.

Although Scotty Kilmer recommends Silicone, I’ve found these to be the best I’ve tried so far. NO ADAPTERS NEEDED!

Continental ClearContact 23" and 19" Beam Wiper Blades - 2 Pack Set in Frustration Free Packaging https://a.co/d/2KsGC3Z

Just a plain box that actually just opens up! What a crazy concept! These are from Continental Tire, one of the best of quality rubber for the road!

Basic in a box. No printed instructions though.

I think I bought the Bosche Icon at Walmart when they were on sale.
Having a single blade is very nice!

I used to only use Bosch Icons, but nobody seems to sell them anymore in stores and Amazon seems to have them, but lately they seem to be weeks and weeks out for shipping. When I got my 01 in August, I changed the blade to a Michelin premium silicone beam type blade (about $30), worked ok at best, it did not hug the curve of the windshield at either end of the wipe pattern and started streaking and squeaking pretty quickly...admittedly my windshield is in pretty bad shape and I'll be looking at replacing it probably after winter is done.

Recently had a stretch of rainy weather and got fed up with it so I bought a super cheap (like $7) old fashioned rubber blade. Man that thing works great, hugs the glass over every curve and wipes cleanly...glass is still crap, but at least I can get the water off it more effectively now.
