Default Good Year Wiper Blades at Costco

Hi
I have been looking for after market wiper blade for our 2001 XJ8. We bought the Michelin wiper blade at Walmart for $6.97, but it did not seem to lock in place.

We found Good Year Assurance wiper blade at Costco for $7.99 and it works perfectly. No problems with installing it, just clicks in place.

We have been using it for about a month now.

Here is the link to the Goodyear Assurance wiper blade site:

I had those costco goodyear wipers on my lincoln, they fit well and worked great, but only for about 2 months before they started wiping very loudly and "skipping" as they wipe

But that car is parked outside all of the time

I hope you get better results with the costco goodyears

I am now running a set of Bosch blades that I got from wal-mart that were $11 or so each and they have been wiping silently since christmas.

The Jaguar blade uses a German Bosch insert. Jaguar to the best of my knowledge has never sold the insert for the single wiper cars.

It is a very high quality soft blade. The blade has a lot of tension on it -- you can scratch the window with the wrong blade -- I have seen it happen.

The inserts are available from Bosch but are not readily available. I forget the exact model but I believe you can order them from Autohaus.

Sorry to hear that you had a problem with the GoodYear wiper blades. If you bought them at Costco, you can get your money refunded when you complain and bring the wipers back to where you bought them.

Costco has a very good policy on returns and full refunds.
