TPS calibration?
Hello everyone.
I am just wondering if someone can talk me through the process of calibrating my TPS on a 1998 4.0 V8.
I was surprised to see four wires from the TPS as whenever I have calibrated one in the past, there have only been three wires and I just used a paperclip in the middle wire (normally red). In my case, I have (if memory serves) one black, one blue, and two green. I tried to take readings yesterday from either of the middle wires and both did give me a reading (0.9v) but neither would change with the TPS being rotated. The voltage would temporarily fluctuate and then default right back to 0.9v. Can someone please elucidate how I would go about adjusting this (and what the setting should be, as I have 0.6v written down but that may be incorrect).
Thanks
Steve
