I can't answer your alternative brand question but there is another option.
It's always annoyed me to throw away a perfectly good wiper blade just because the rubber has worn. Replacement rubbers are available as P/N GNB8961AA (see item 3).
Naturally many members would never consider going anywhere near a Jaguar Dealer and they are available from aftermarket specialists. However, the lowest cost I can find is from ..... Jaguar.
I use the Trico 45-205 replacement inserts available at my local Carquest Auto Parts. My last order was for 4 of them and I paid just over $17 total. That was in January 2017....
The original Jaguar wiper insert holder has a 'swoop' in the rear part of the frame to allow for the nozzles.
We just installed new INSERTS at service intervals (every 10K miles) when I worked at the dealer so as to keep the original fit.
I use the original blade holders and just replace the rubber inserts as per Jaguar recommendations.
I bought 10 replacement blades (with metal frames) from Rock Auto for 'cheap' and just used the rubber inserts and discarded the metal segmented arm part.
Just buy ONE from Jaguar and learn to change the rubber insert every 10K miles.

Pure Genius.

The PIAA Silicone Rubber refill inserts fit the factory blades very well. Simply measure the length of the current insert and order accordingly.
They never seem to wear out, using the same set for five years. Car is outdoors a lot and driven in the rain, so they are used.
