Hi guys, I'm looking at buying my first (new) Jaguar. I've been waiting for the "build and price" to go live for 2022s, and it finally did this week. I like the pictures I've seen of the new Ostuni pearl white paint color, so that's what I configured it with. It gives me the option of selecting satin finish, and it lists it as a zero dollar upgrade! I'm pretty sure this is an error on the website, and I'm not convinced I want satin, but if it's an affordable option, I'd like to consider it. I asked my dealer, and he said the following: it's not available yet, satin is an SVO option, and it would cost around $9000. I certainly don't like it enough to shell out that kind of money, so I'm trying to see if anyone else has been told something similar by their dealer. I guess even though Ostuni isn't an SVO color, the satin version is, so the missing extra cost is probably an oversight that would be corrected when I actually place the order.

I too have been "configuring" a 2022 F-Pace SVR online in advance of placing an order. I am a "Santorini Black" only Jaguar owner so my choice is easy, however I went in and played around with other colors regarding your point. I do see that the "matte" finish shows $0.00 for the price and registers no change in the cost when the radio-button is clicked. However, I scrolled down to the "special" "Icy White" color option which is $9200 USD and when I clicked "matte", which is displayed as a $0.00 option, it DOES actually increase the price by $2840.

 

Thanks for the reply! That's actually good information. It makes me hopeful that maybe since Ostuni isn't singled out as an SVO paint selection, it's possible the correct price to go satin might be $2840. Not cheap, but more hopeful than my dealer's guess of $9K. If I could stretch my budget that far, I'd be looking at an SVR instead of an R Dynamic!
