Hello all,

I have a 2021 USA version F-Pace S and like every one else I have the auto start stop switch issue. I have see the video about disconnecting the wire off the battery but also read some cautions about it.

I am wondering if there is a way to connect to the car (odbII port) and just change the setting inside the computer? I saw a product called odbeleven (I think that was the name but Jaguar was not supported) that claims to allow you to do that and some adds for a service company in the UK that will do the same thing.

Has anyone explored this or know if you can do it?

only way to successfully make start/stop go away.

 

Regrettably that does not exist in a 21 F-pace. Any other thoughts?

 

Gotcha, sorry.

No further ideas other than there was a guy (Russian dude in Lansing Michigan) that had developed a module that got between the start/stop button and the wire harness on Cayennes that “remembered “ the last position and went ahead and “pressed” the button for you. Also worked on the Sport Mode button, which was nice.

 

The diamond button on the steering wheel can be programed to disable the auto stop start with a push of the button.
