I did a search and nothing seemed to be the issue I was researching !
As usual ECO modes prove to be ANYTHING but ECO. Battery /starter / wear on the flywheel will cost many times what the supposed ECO mode was going to save !
Thanks for posting this, just got my F Type and it was driving me crazy to have to keep pushing the stop start button ever time. There's no other side effects to disconnecting the wire?
Disconnecting the feature was the second thing that I did when I got the car home. The first was removing the front license plate. I have not noticed any adverse effects after almost 1 year. I do wish that there was a way to easily disable the indicator light on the Auto Stop/Start button on the console though.
But, it was an easy 30 second job to pull the connector under the storage bin and easy enough to reconnect should you decide to sell the car.

We've got roughly 7 years worth of people who have disconnected it in the thread I referenced. Not one has had a negative effect.
I disconnected the eco from working, no annoying stop start, 2 minute job disconnected in boot, light stays lit on button all the time but no error messages, love it

My light goes out after about 5-10 seconds, weird.
