When are you having it fitted? I am interested in the sound with the VAP catalysts.

 

This was a quick 15 minute bufty as soon as I can will get it all polished and post it in all its glory
it's a quality system and can't wait to get it fitted
I wanted a system that didn't go all high pitched when revved

Hold onto your horses
have the rear silencer and mid pipes
Now ordering the downpipes
Quality of system is superb and dealing with supersprint has been superb
Must have sent 20 emails plus numerous messages and all answered quickly

 

Do let us know how you get on. Interested in the full set as well but it’s really pricey and it’ll help to have some first hand impressions.

Is your car otherwise stock?

 

Car is stock engine wise but am adding the full supersprint system the problem with most aftermarket syst is they have a raspy sound the supersprint give a deeper nicer sound
but am adding p b big brake kit and vossen hf5 21 inch wheels
Power mods will be next year

 

Thanks, my single concern (apart from price!) is if the replacement catalytic require a tune to defeat the check engine light. I'll keep a close eye on this. Please take lots of pictures and videos! thanks.

 

I have been advised that these cats do not require a tune or removing the check engine light
I think it may have to do with the position of the sensors

 

I asked the question and was advised it couldn't be guaranteed as it hadn't been tested. There's a thread about it somewhere here.

 

I think yes with 100 cell its always a possibility but I am having 200 cell cats
as I am planning on having a vap tune anyway

 

SuperSprint Italy is going to fabricate "custom" Sport Cats as per Gasman2 needs and to his specification.

Hey Gasman2, wonder if you will be able to make a recording of the exhaust with the valves closed and open after installing it? I'm interested in buying it and would like to know how it sounds in real life. I was only able to find two videos on youtube (one from Supsersprint) but I cannot really hear how they would sound in a real life situation.

Also, did you purchase the touring or race version?

I think the race version is for real die hard track junkies
I will get some sound clips as soon as its fitted but supersprint have a sale on at present and it's not to be missed
A friend of mine had his fitted Thursday and he said it's the best sound he has had nice and deep and he loves it

Could you ask your friend if he made any videos? Curious to hear what it sounds like at higher revs in motion.
