Dead Battery again
2020 F-Pace - 2nd time in a year battery dies. Came out this am to headlights slightly on and battery dead. same thing happened a year ago ; we replaced the battery . When we garaged it last night all components were OFF ; we are good about being sure of it after last years issue because we were not certain what caused it. 1 strange twist we noticed is this is the 2nd time this has occurred a day or 2 after we had emissions test done. Coincidence? Anyone else seen this before?
Love the car but this seems rather random. Makes us a little hesitant to take it on any long trips. I suppose it just could be a defective battery but this 1 was installed by our jaguar mechanic(not a dealer but 40+ year Jaguar repair shop - great reputation)
He will replace the battery(warranty) for us if I can get it started so I can drive it over there. Pulling the battery is a pain so I hope I don't have to do it!
Thoughts?

It is well known in the F Type community that getting an emissions inspection will leave the system awake. You can see this when the car is closed and locked but the red hazard triangle will still be lit up. Disconnecting the battery for a bit is the only way to reset the system.
I’ve not had this problem with the F Paces or XE.

The symptom you described seems to mimic what occurred in my F Pace yesterday. I used a mini jump starter and she started up fine w/o me taking out the battery, however, a low battery message came back after turned it off. Restarted and left running for 30 mins to recharge.
As another test, I locked it up last night and this AM, all seems to work fine, no low battery message. I'm still going to take it to our Jag mechanic tomorrow to see what else, if anything he can find.
