Dead as a Dodo
The car was sitting in the driveway yesterday for a couple of hours, doors unlocked and the tailgate open some of the time.
When I was ready to leave jumped in and the dash was totally dead except for a flashing start button which did nothing.
I could lock and unlock the doors open the tailgate etc with the fob so that seemed good, tried SWMBOs fob with no change.
Put my Ctek on i case it was the battery but the stop start had been working earlier so that was unlikely, I locked the car and went off to do something else and
came back in about half an hour, gave it a try and all's good. Left the charger on overnight and so far today no issues.
It wasn't enough time for the Ctek to do much good so I assume it was the locking it up and walking away that was the fix.
Anybody had something similar?
I'm off to SC on Monday so I don't want SWMBO to get stuck if possibe, she'll be getting some training with contacting Jaguar Assistance.

Not had this on the F-Pace but did have something similar on the XK after doing a door handle swap when the door and boot were open for about three hours.
Again, locking/unlocking was the solution. I did wonder at the time if it was something in the security system timing out as a safety feature but, as it's never happened since, didn't give it any more thought until your post reminded me of the incident.
