F-Pace now the top-selling Jaguar model
Yes, folks, the F-Pace is now the top-selling Jaguar model. I suspected this would be the case as the SUV market has gone ballistic in recent times.
I think if Jaguar had more dealers they could sell even more. Things are happening, though, as we are to get a Jaguar dealer here in Crewe less than a mile from my house ! Owning company already have the VW and Audi franchises here, and the new dealership will be a few hundred yards from those.

If I could qualify one thing in your statement. It isn't the dealerships, as much as the "Production output" that is the issue. Demand has grossly outpaced supply, which is the culprit always economically in new products such as this. Look at Tesla with their SUV.
Great car, great experience, and Jaguar is a great brand.

You are correct that production is the gate right now and the ramp up may continue for the rest of the year. But, I think he's making a different (and correct) point that sales could grow even higher if there were a larger dealer network. I pass 2 Porsche dealers (plus BMW, Audi, MB, etc - even Maserati) on the trip to my nearest JLR location. The distance was a consideration that, as a brand fan, I managed to overcome; but, those new to the brand might not get past the competition. Hopefully success with the new models will support some dealer expansion.

Now that really sucks! There should always be "test drive" cars for future sales potentials, but then again, supply can't keep pace with demand....thus the lack of a car, but.....without the car test driven, how could the medium term get people to "build" and order? A catch 22....
