Default How do I disable the "Lim" feature when using cruise control?

My 2023 F-PACE SVR has adaptive cruise control. However, whenever I activate cruise control the darn "Lim" button lights up and it limits the speed at which the vehicle goes downhill. I've tried cycling the "Lim" button on and off. Unfortunately, when the "Lim" button is off so is the cruise control, adaptive or regular. I prefer that the vehicle just pick up speed (within reason) when going downhill just like all of our other seven late model Jags. In many places where I drive there are several rolling hills in a row and I find the cycle of acceleration and braking annoying to the point that I revert to canceling the cruise control. Since the transmission doesn't downshift and engine RPM doesn't increase in order to maintain a set speed (like in my wife's 2021 Toyota Camry) I assume that the brakes are engaging which means that the brakes are subjected to needless wear. None of our other Jags have experienced this. I've repeatedly read the manual but I haven't been able to figure out how to use cruise control without the darn limiter being engaged. Any help is appreciated.
